4th July

Friday, March 13, 2009

Wernn borrowed me this book, entitled 4th July by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro.

This book is yet another detective solving strings of murders and crimes, but somehow the detective this time is involved in a teen-murder court case herself.. It was not one of the best detective & criminal stories I've ever read, but it sure is exciting and hard to put down. But just disappointed at how the murder cases got solved in the end abruptly. A little too express and fake.. Hehe.. worth it, as a leisure reading.

Spencerville

I've finally completed Spencerville by Nelson Demille
Wernn found this in the Penguin booksales. I was expecting more conspiracy juice out of this book, but since it was one of the early writings, it was a good leisure read.

First published: 1995
Description: About the passions of long-lost love and the sadistic husband in a town called Spencerville in Ohio.
