After some time (last check, it's been a year plus), I continue knitting ya.. It's a pouch again, which has been long overdue, for my friend.. She had wanted a doggie on the pouch too, as she likes doggie, but well, can't find any now, so I make a basket weave drawstring pouch with pompom instead.. Hope she'll like it..
I wish I can practise knitting more, so that I can start on a sweater project.. :)

Tuesdays With Morrie
Friday, December 18, 2009
This is a very inspiring book.. It's the last thesis for Mitch Albom, with his old college professor Morrie Schwartz. Truly emotional advises from an experience coach disabled byALS, a motor neuron disease. Each chapter inspires me through such simple ways on how I should live my life from this second onwards.. This is a very special book that enlightens me and put me into tears. Love this book..
Learn how to die, and you learn how to live

The Dead and the Gone

It's hard to put it down once started and somehow I think I'm gonna remember this book for some time..
Author: Susan Pfeffer
First published: 2008
I was thinking about it even after I put down the book, after I finished reading it.
I think about it before sleeping, in between work, in the car, during toilet breaks.. I thought I was going to be crazy... Thinking of what if it really happens, am I prepared? Am I able to survive? Though surviving may not be a good idea if your loved ones are not beside you.. But survival is a must, if you know your loved ones depend on you..
But Phew~~ What a relieve it's just a great work of fiction... or maybe not..

I've just finished reading on Wild Fire Nelson Demille
First published: 2006
Description: I like this book, it was much of a thriller and John Corey was once again smart but yet taking chances this time while investigating on Project Green & Wild Fire.. It was a miracle towards the end on how they deal with Bain Madox.
One thing I've learned from the book, is about ELF: extremely low frequency, which was once used by the US & Russion navy to communicate with their submerged submarines which are normally far away from the underwater station... And, ELF emerges again here in this book, as the frequency used to detonate nuclear bombs.................

My breakfast jam...
Just like any other blessed people around, I'm also one of them to say that "My mum is the best in the world". Since day 1 I'm born, my mum has been preparing and giving food to me. That's proudly to say been 30 years now.. Mum has never failed us. Mum will prepare breakfast for us, to school and now to work. I'm so blessed and contented with the love Mum has given to us.
Thank you Mummy. We love you..
This is a picture I took, when I go groceries shopping with Mum recently.. One of our many varieties of breakfast jam!

Sawing again..
Saturday, March 08, 2008After sawing off a few tree branches the past week, this weekend, i sawed off yet another few branches..I think my skill has since improved, and so same goes to my climbing tree skill. Hehe, I'm not an amateur anymore!
I still remember I sawed of a branch and I couldn't hold it well cause it's so heavy. And the whole branch fall on the floor, and I heard two passing cyclists (father and son), almost shouting "wah... fall down!"
They were so surprised why the branch suddenly fall off and keep looking, until they see me high up on the tree, oh my... their face is even more surprise by now.. hehe.. they keep looking at me... wa.. i feel like monkey/superman at that moment!

mango trees of 30 years!
Sunday, March 02, 2008As we step into 2008, it's also time i realize that our mango trees in our house compound is already 30years old!
Just now, I help out father to trim our tree. climb up the tree, sit on one of the branches and started sawing away... saw off 3 branches, phew.. tiring man, not to mention I'm afraid of heights too. But I'm confident that our dear tree won't 'throw' me off, so i sit with legs and hands all wrapped around our tree. Just focused on sawing the tree, rather than looking around for unidentified insects/lizards/cacings .. bla bla..
It was a fun time spending with father. Simple things that made me, me.
