I've just finished reading on Wild Fire Nelson Demille

First published: 2006
Description: I like this book, it was much of a thriller and John Corey was once again smart but yet taking chances this time while investigating on Project Green & Wild Fire.. It was a miracle towards the end on how they deal with Bain Madox.
One thing I've learned from the book, is about ELF: extremely low frequency, which was once used by the US & Russion navy to communicate with their submerged submarines which are normally far away from the underwater station... And, ELF emerges again here in this book, as the frequency used to detonate nuclear bombs.................

4th July

Friday, March 13, 2009

Wernn borrowed me this book, entitled 4th July by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro.

This book is yet another detective solving strings of murders and crimes, but somehow the detective this time is involved in a teen-murder court case herself.. It was not one of the best detective & criminal stories I've ever read, but it sure is exciting and hard to put down. But just disappointed at how the murder cases got solved in the end abruptly. A little too express and fake.. Hehe.. worth it, as a leisure reading.

Spencerville

Sunday, November 02, 2008

I've finally completed Spencerville by Nelson Demille
Wernn found this in the Penguin booksales. I was expecting more conspiracy juice out of this book, but since it was one of the early writings, it was a good leisure read.

First published: 1995
Description: About the passions of long-lost love and the sadistic husband in a town called Spencerville in Ohio.

A flower in our garden..

Sunday, August 17, 2008

This beautiful gerbera plant that we were given during my cousin's wedding dinner blossoms yet again. I wish them happiness and sweetness through their newly married life, just as beautiful as this flower..

My breakfast jam...

Just like any other blessed people around, I'm also one of them to say that "My mum is the best in the world". Since day 1 I'm born, my mum has been preparing and giving food to me. That's proudly to say been 30 years now.. Mum has never failed us. Mum will prepare breakfast for us, to school and now to work. I'm so blessed and contented with the love Mum has given to us.

Thank you Mummy. We love you..

This is a picture I took, when I go groceries shopping with Mum recently.. One of our many varieties of breakfast jam!

A locust in our garden..

I was talking to Wernn, standing leisurely and suddenly Wernn pointed out a locust to me. I just jump at my fastest speed. Asked Wernn to snap a picture for me and then shoo it away.. Boy, locust can fly pretty fast and far ya.. I just thought it can jump all this while.

It's time to buckle up on my general knowledge..

Sawing again..

Saturday, March 08, 2008

After sawing off a few tree branches the past week, this weekend, i sawed off yet another few branches..I think my skill has since improved, and so same goes to my climbing tree skill. Hehe, I'm not an amateur anymore!

I still remember I sawed of a branch and I couldn't hold it well cause it's so heavy. And the whole branch fall on the floor, and I heard two passing cyclists (father and son), almost shouting "wah... fall down!"

They were so surprised why the branch suddenly fall off and keep looking, until they see me high up on the tree, oh my... their face is even more surprise by now.. hehe.. they keep looking at me... wa.. i feel like monkey/superman at that moment!

mango trees of 30 years!

Sunday, March 02, 2008

As we step into 2008, it's also time i realize that our mango trees in our house compound is already 30years old!

Just now, I help out father to trim our tree. climb up the tree, sit on one of the branches and started sawing away... saw off 3 branches, phew.. tiring man, not to mention I'm afraid of heights too. But I'm confident that our dear tree won't 'throw' me off, so i sit with legs and hands all wrapped around our tree. Just focused on sawing the tree, rather than looking around for unidentified insects/lizards/cacings .. bla bla..

It was a fun time spending with father. Simple things that made me, me.

my simple life

my 1st post for this blog. this blog should be all about appreciating each day as if there's no tomorrow and embracing the time of today. doing whatever you like ( legally ... ) enjoying the work you chose. have fun and be happy at the end of each day.

Someone once said to me "How can you be so naive? The world is not so easy on us"

it's true to an extent. everyone has their own faith and their chosen route. walk the route you chose with pride. nothing always comes 100% as we wish. be contented as long as you did and tried your best.

so, i have long chosen to live my life simple. whichever life route you walk, i wish everyone happy and be grateful if not contented for what you own now.
